This is a new take away and we recently had the menu pushed through our letterbox so decided to give them a try.

We ordered a mixed grill, Tandoori Mixed masala, Chips, Keema rice, & Galrlic & coriander nan. We got free BBQ chicken wings & free papadoms with mint dip.

We was told our meal would take up to 45 minutes to be delivered, after 1 hour they needed a reminder, 5 mins later our food arrived.

The free BBQ wigs were a nice touch. Small tandoori chicken wings!
I suspect that the food had been sitting in it's own heat waiting for a long time as the chips and nan bread was a little soggy. There was plenty of food though, there was no complaint about the portions. This was the first time in a long time that a take away or restaurant had been so generous with the meat. There was lots of it. The nan bread was damp as it had been cooked and left for so long in the heat contained bag.

Although there was lots of meat and more than enough for two of us the taste was very standard and didn't do the rest of the meal justice.

The whole meal come to £15.00, for the price of the meal there was no complaints but I doubt we will be using the spice hut again.

Overall we gave the Spice Hut 3 stars.
