REVIEW

The Spice Bazaar is a fairly new restaurant. Situated above Budget Box & Ladbrooks there is a door to the right with a menu outside so you can look before you go in. Upstairs the restaurant is the door immediately on your left. You are welcome to take your own drinks and there is an off license 30 seconds walk away. Parking should not be a problem. There is several parking spaces outside or on the road. If these are full, there is a car park at the bottom of the hill.

Time was an issue when we visited this restaurant we dicided that a takeaway would be the best option. Once we had ordered we waited in a small comfortable area with free bombay mix for the customers. Our order took about 10 - 15 minutes.

We ordered Onion Bhaji to share as a starter which we had with our main course's. We ordered a Chicken Tikka main course and a Balti Meat & Egg. The lamb balti was medium hot, exactly how it said on the menu. We ordered Chips and a plain nan & also had free popadoms with mint dip and salad.

The food was quite good, and the price was good also. All in all a restaurant we have book marked for a future visit so we can enjoy and experience of eating in the restaurant.

The price for 2 people including Starter, Main courses, Nan & Chips was approximately £12.00

Overall a 3 Star rating from the BaltiGuide.com
