I've seen this restaurat a number of times whilst driving along the Bristol Road and decided to try a take away.
The restaurant itself was very quiet on my visit with only 2 customers which seemed strange for a Thursday evening. There
were no parking facilities unless you use the pub car park next door.
My order was just a main course, nan and chips.
I actually ordered a Chicken & Lamb Balti but recieved only a Lamb Balti. Being a take away
there was nothing I could do once I got the food home.
The Lamb Balti was very mild, a bland balti that lacked any real flavour.
The portions were good, the Garlic nan was enough and so were the chips.
Overall, if your looking for quality more than quantity then this restaurant isn't for you. The Royal Spice is
perfect if your after a quick balti or curry after a night out on the beer.
The Royal Spice has been awarded = 2/3 stars
