Welcome to Octobers Balti Guide Review.
If you want your restaurant reviewed you can let know us here.
The Rajpoot is a very popular restaurant. There are several pubs and social clubs within walking distance so the weekends
can get very busy after hours.
We had some popadoms to nibble on until our starters arrived.
We selected a range of starters, Chicken Pakora, Onion Bhaji and Chicken Tikka
All of the starters were excellent and everyone cleared there plate.
Once we had finished we waited eagerly for our main courses.
The main courses arrived pretty quickly considering the restaurant was full and there were already customers queing for a table.
Our Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Balti and Lamb Balti Bhuna with side dishes of nan breads.
were healthy portions with lots of meat. The masala was rich and creamy served with rice and nan bread, whilst we enjoyed
the 2 balti's with nan bread and chips. The Keema, Garlic and cheese nan breads were a little on the
small side but there was enough rice and balti to make up for it.
All the food was served fresh and piping hot. The only thing that let it down slightly was the clumsy waiter who nearly
knocked our bottle of wine over 3 times!!
The price for 3 meals (starters & main coures) including a bottle of wine was approximately £42.00
The Rajpoot Balti has been awarded = 4 stars
