Well, it's almost December and Christmas will soon be here. We've decided to go for a Turkey Balti for Christmas dinner
this year, all we need now is to decide where to go. If anyone has any suggestions please let us know.
Novembers
review comes from one of the newest restaurants to open in south Birmingham's Stirchley area.
If you can't find Akrams restaurant whilst driving through Stirchley then I suggest you drive to the nearest opticians. With
a big blue & metallic silver sign sticking out a few feet above the restaurant, the neon lights spelling out Akrams should certainly
get your attention. Parking is available at the rear of the restaurant which is a good thing because parking on the Pershore Road
can be a nightmare. On the opposite side of the restaurant there is an off license with a large selection of drinks.
The restaurant itself always seems to have customers yet it's big enough to give a relaxed quiet atmosphere. Its always clean,
friendly along with the staff.
The food was exellent, starters and main course's were all servered quickly and piping hot. On this visit we had starters
Nargis Kebab, Shammi Kebab, Mix Kebab, Chicken Chat, and main courses
Seafood Balti, Chicken Curry, Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Balti. No problems with any of
the dishes we were served and the price was reasonable also.
We would definately recommend this restuarant to anyone and our reccomended dish is Seafood Balti.
Overall a 4Star rating recieving a certificate of quality from the BaltiGuide.com
